PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Project Management
We, at CivPlan, assume the role of communicators and drivers with all stakeholders and contractors to ensure products are produced according to the specifications, budget and schedule. Our project management services are particularly useful for clients who would like to achieve the best results, but are unable to do so due to time constraints and/or a lack of resources.
Superintendence
As Superintendents, we will act on your behalf when you enter into a construction contract. Every step of the way, the Superintendent will act as a decision-maker when it comes to contractual obligations between contracted parties, with the intention of facilitating a fair outcome for both parties.
As Superintendents, our overall role is to execute a level of professionalism that is balanced, and to handle any disputes that may arise as a result of a contractual disagreement. What this involves include:
- Relationship development and management
- A detailed understanding of contracts
- Experienced engineers with detailed engineering knowledge
- A solid understanding and experience of construction practice
- A thorough knowledge of contract law
Contract Management
In order to ensure the success of your project, CivPlan provides contract management services following the design phase. We use this stage to transform your idea into a reality by putting your design into action. Here are the steps involved:
- Preparation of a bill of quantities with specifications, drawings, and contract in accordance with recognised Australian Standards
- The development of a relevant tendering process for obtaining pricing for construction using the proposed contract for purchase
- Providing contractors with opportunities to submit competitive tenders and quotations
- Evaluating tenders and making recommendations for contractors
- Provide assistance in the negotiation of pre-contractual agreements
- Taking on the role of the Superintendent after the contract has been signed
